The heme-responsive PrrH sRNA regulates Pseudomonas aeruginosa pyochelin gene expression

UID: 227

Description
Bacterial strains, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, were cultured in media supplemented with iron or heme under different growth conditions, including shaking and static cultures, and exposed to different light conditions (ambient, infrared, dark). For RNA isolation and analysis, cultures were treated with RNA later and processed for quantitative real-time PCR, northern blot analyses, RNA sequencing (RNAseq), and quantitative label-free proteomics. RNA and protein analyses were conducted to assess gene expression changes and protein abundance under different environmental stimuli, utilizing high-throughput sequencing and mass spectrometry technologies for comprehensive molecular profiling.
